VARMEC

VARMEC - variable speed drives (friction type)

The VARMEC range of variable speed drives from .12 to 5.5kw are coaxial and give a speed range of 5 to 1 (eg 350-1750rpm from a constantly running 1440rpm motor).

Inputs accept standard metric motors. Outputs can be foot or flange and one or two stage integral gearheads allow for speed ranges down to 7.5-37.5rpm.

Alternatively Combidrive will fit customers motor and/or gearbox.

VARMEC speed adjustment is by hand but servo speed control is available for remote or automatic operation.
